We're back!

Salut mes amis, On this weeks agenda, we're gonna be giving you a bit of a life update. We've missed writing to you, but we have been busy recording podcast episodes. You should listen if you have time. Personally, I love listening them walking home from school. The podcasts evoke humour, whilst talking about interesting topics. But a lot has happened since our last post in February, so let me fill you in. February was an L month. However, as summer past and winter is now upon us, things have changed. We finished our last first term of high school, and enjoyed a lovely holiday break before locking back in to term two. Hols and her boyfriend broke up and Reebs is riding in Tiptoes car every week.  But right now, we are in the middle of probably the biggest SAC weeks. French and General last week. Methods and English this week. Methods and General next week. And Methods (once again) and French the following week. What the freak! Also this Methods SAC is not only four parts, but t...

We have a surprise...

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna be talking about a collab you never expected, and some exciting news coming up. Firstly, I'm very excited that today K Krispa and I collabed and made a rap together! Her blog constantly inspires me, and I'm so privileged to now have my creativity featured on there.  Here's a sneak peak: yo yo yo, it's hols in da house takin' a break from my blog should start a video log kripsa is the best rapper, no cap no lie she is so fly maybe she'll be mine? Additionally, I'm very excited to announce after so much time and effort, Reebs and I have a podcast! Episodes are able to be stream on spotify now. Click the link , or search "The Yap Club" on spotify. Bisous bisous, Reebs et Hols

My fears have come true

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna be talking about how screwed I am in every aspect of Year 12.  Firstly, I literally cannot lock in, when I 'started' to write a previous blog post I got sidetracked like 20 times. I had a convo about Ross Lynch (he's so hot), The Mother and Father from 'Bad Dreams' (the short story not the book), and how if my bf won't spoon me, Reebs will. Also, I visited my old methods teacher in his new class and it's so scary. The class is full of people who literally hate me (they side-eyed me when I was yapping). And, I can't freely yap in that class, or any class really. All my classes are unsafe yapping zones, but I still can't lock in.  Additionally, when I was meant to be locking in yesterday for my SAC, I literally just watched the superbowl and baked brownies. But, people who hate me asked for them, so maybe mending some acquaintance-ships?  Further, I had my first SAC yesterday, YAY! And it was s...

Welcome back

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna talk about the start of something new (good song btw). We've received our Year 12 jackets and now are top of the school. I can't even try to comprehend all the year has in stall for us. Experiencing all our 'lasts', last first day of school, last aths day, last first SAC, last formal, last day of school, last exam, last time seeing the people you've grown up alongside. I'm so privileged to have such amazing people in my life. Even writing this post, sitting alongside them (they are locked in), I can't help remember all the best moments of the past 5 years. Playing volleyball at interschool sports with Jess , Armaa, Kripa  and Lycia in Year 7. Struggling through Year 9 maths with a teacher who cannot teach. Acting out MacDeath in bio last year as a B-plasma cell (even though I'm obviously a T-helper cell).  Also all the experiences I am lucky enough to have encountered. All the opportunities throu...

A new beginning

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna talk about the start of something new (good song btw).  The season of stress has passed over, leaving us with excitement for this new oncoming chapter... YEAR 12. When I tell you I feel like a just graduated year 6 and am about to start year 7, I mean it. My goodness time has flown by, but I'm so glad to have enjoyed every moment. Since beginning at this school, I have learnt many lessons academically and socially. I'm very privileged to have found people I call my friends. Some I've know since year 7, like author of Jessica's Jocoserious Musings  and some I've met along the way, like fellow author Reebs. Not to mention all the other amazing people I'm so grateful to have in my life. Also shout out to my favourite rapper Kripsa from KK Kripsa in da house . (If you make a blog I will mention you). Recently, our new teachers were revealed to us and there were definitely some mixed emotions. I'm very lu...

Honey, i don't think you're tall enough

Salut mes amis,  On this week's agenda, we will be talking about yet another man. YAY! So this man, Tip-toes, is in one of my classes and I've known him since the start of the year. He is um quite the interesting bloke, a bit strange fosho but he's really nice and kind.  He has been for the most part fine throughout the year, I actually kinda hated him at first cuz he would always tease me and call me short and the friendly bullying just got lowkey annoying, but then he eventually got better and things were fine.  UNTIL RECENTLY.  So Tip-Toes and I were hanging out, just us two because our other friend wasn't available, (usually it's the three of us as a trio that hang out) AND BRO DID SOME STRANGE THINGS. FIRSTLY, we were at a shop right looking at skateboards and he goes "hey, let's try and ride these", um okay sure, and yeah so yk when you first ride a skateboard and someone has to kinda help you along and guide you, yeah bro pulled that move and h...

A bittersweet goodbye

Salut mes amis. On this week's agenda, we're going to be talking about our last day of school. Over the past years, your authors have been undergoing immense schooling. However, today is our last day of formal classes for this year. After the day concludes, we will no longer be undertaken classes but instead be overwhelmed with exam revision.  'How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard' - Winnie the Pooh This year, we have been so privileged to have been given classes full of students and teachers who are genuine and kind. From our most difficult subjects to our easiest, our teachers have looked out for us ensuring we are well looked after and able to thrive in upcoming years.  To commemorate the conclusion of classes, we made and decorated a cake with the help of Jess from Jessica's Jocoserious Musings . Did the cake take us over an hour to make? Yes. But was it worth it? Absolutely! Thank you to the fine educators and students who assisted...

A cry for help

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we will be discussing my inability to LOCK IN.  Every time I sit down, the focus leaves me. I stare at my work and my mind wanders, and the discipline just seeps out my brain. It might also have something to do with the fact that I'm the worlds BIGGEST yapper and I physically cannot lock in if friends are next to me. Also that I randomly burst out singing a lot. Deepest apologies to everyone who has sat next to me trying to work.  I am so high key SCREWED for my upcoming exams, but it's okay because life comes from the heart not from that exam paper. YOLO! But don't yolo too hard, you may get pregnant (like Hols, who now takes pregnancy tests regularly ) Bisous Bisous Reebs et Hols

I took a pregnancy test...

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna update you on a previous post titled 'I think I might be pregnant'.  After countless reminders from friends (thanks ReeRee), I took a test. But let's start before then... Early this week I published a blog outlining the relationship between my boyfriend and I. This piece of literature has received a lot of views and begun to circulate questions regarding if I was pregnant or not. I postponed taking a test until after my boyfriend had concluded his year 12 exam because I didn't want to put any unnecessary pressure on him.  So... on Tuesday night, I took a pregnancy test. The test was fast acting so the results displayed within one minute.  After a long minute had come and gone, all that remained was me and the test. I looked at the results that were clearly displayed on the stick... negative! Yeah, so I'm not pregnant! YAY! Time to celebrate! Sorry that I can't contribute to all your SEAS applications. I ...

Time to leave the farm

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're going to filling you in on the bs we've endured throughout this year. School is difficult for everyone, but you know what makes it even harder? BAD TEACHERS. Have you ever had a teacher that literally CANNOT teach?  At the beginning of this year, our class was full of life. Our teacher was lovely and ensured every student was engaged and eager to learn the difficult subject we had enrolled in. However, EVERYTHING CHANGED when this polite teacher was forced to leave us and move countries! What were we to do but sit back and wait for our lives to fall apart. Term two came, and we waited patiently for our new teacher to arrive. And there she was, strolling towards the door. Moo Moo.  We tried to embrace this change, but nothing could prepare us for the hell to come. Lesson after lesson our sacred knowledge declined. This subject that we had been struggling to grasp for FIVE years (and that we were finally beginning to understand) le...
