A new beginning

Salut mes amis,

On this week's agenda, we're gonna talk about the start of something new (good song btw). 

The season of stress has passed over, leaving us with excitement for this new oncoming chapter... YEAR 12. When I tell you I feel like a just graduated year 6 and am about to start year 7, I mean it. My goodness time has flown by, but I'm so glad to have enjoyed every moment.

Since beginning at this school, I have learnt many lessons academically and socially. I'm very privileged to have found people I call my friends. Some I've know since year 7, like author of Jessica's Jocoserious Musings and some I've met along the way, like fellow author Reebs. Not to mention all the other amazing people I'm so grateful to have in my life. Also shout out to my favourite rapper Kripsa from KK Kripsa in da house. (If you make a blog I will mention you).

Recently, our new teachers were revealed to us and there were definitely some mixed emotions. I'm very lucky to have been given teachers who are knowledgeable and will be able to help me not only succeed but surpass my academic goals (hopefully). 

In three days, we will receive our year 12 jackets. It's very difficult to comprehend, because what do you mean next year is my final year of schooling? What do you mean that this time next year I probably won't see most of these people again? What do you mean I am an adult next year and have to make my own decisions?

So in this next week and upcoming year, I hope to cherish all the memories I will create. Because I don't want to look back and think 'my goodness time has flown by, but I didn't have time to enjoy it'. This next year is about performing well academically but also savouring each moment, each dress up day, and each 'last' we will experience together.
