A new beginning

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna talk about the start of something new (good song btw).  The season of stress has passed over, leaving us with excitement for this new oncoming chapter... YEAR 12. When I tell you I feel like a just graduated year 6 and am about to start year 7, I mean it. My goodness time has flown by, but I'm so glad to have enjoyed every moment. Since beginning at this school, I have learnt many lessons academically and socially. I'm very privileged to have found people I call my friends. Some I've know since year 7, like author of Jessica's Jocoserious Musings  and some I've met along the way, like fellow author Reebs. Not to mention all the other amazing people I'm so grateful to have in my life. Also shout out to my favourite rapper Kripsa from KK Kripsa in da house . (If you make a blog I will mention you). Recently, our new teachers were revealed to us and there were definitely some mixed emotions. I'm very lu...

Honey, i don't think you're tall enough

Salut mes amis,  On this week's agenda, we will be talking about yet another man. YAY! So this man, Tip-toes, is in one of my classes and I've known him since the start of the year. He is um quite the interesting bloke, a bit strange fosho but he's really nice and kind.  He has been for the most part fine throughout the year, I actually kinda hated him at first cuz he would always tease me and call me short and the friendly bullying just got lowkey annoying, but then he eventually got better and things were fine.  UNTIL RECENTLY.  So Tip-Toes and I were hanging out, just us two because our other friend wasn't available, (usually it's the three of us as a trio that hang out) AND BRO DID SOME STRANGE THINGS. FIRSTLY, we were at a shop right looking at skateboards and he goes "hey, let's try and ride these", um okay sure, and yeah so yk when you first ride a skateboard and someone has to kinda help you along and guide you, yeah bro pulled that move and h...

A bittersweet goodbye

Salut mes amis. On this week's agenda, we're going to be talking about our last day of school. Over the past years, your authors have been undergoing immense schooling. However, today is our last day of formal classes for this year. After the day concludes, we will no longer be undertaken classes but instead be overwhelmed with exam revision.  'How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard' - Winnie the Pooh This year, we have been so privileged to have been given classes full of students and teachers who are genuine and kind. From our most difficult subjects to our easiest, our teachers have looked out for us ensuring we are well looked after and able to thrive in upcoming years.  To commemorate the conclusion of classes, we made and decorated a cake with the help of Jess from Jessica's Jocoserious Musings . Did the cake take us over an hour to make? Yes. But was it worth it? Absolutely! Thank you to the fine educators and students who assisted...

A cry for help

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we will be discussing my inability to LOCK IN.  Every time I sit down, the focus leaves me. I stare at my work and my mind wanders, and the discipline just seeps out my brain. It might also have something to do with the fact that I'm the worlds BIGGEST yapper and I physically cannot lock in if friends are next to me. Also that I randomly burst out singing a lot. Deepest apologies to everyone who has sat next to me trying to work.  I am so high key SCREWED for my upcoming exams, but it's okay because life comes from the heart not from that exam paper. YOLO! But don't yolo too hard, you may get pregnant (like Hols, who now takes pregnancy tests regularly ) Bisous Bisous Reebs et Hols

I took a pregnancy test...

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna update you on a previous post titled 'I think I might be pregnant'.  After countless reminders from friends (thanks ReeRee), I took a test. But let's start before then... Early this week I published a blog outlining the relationship between my boyfriend and I. This piece of literature has received a lot of views and begun to circulate questions regarding if I was pregnant or not. I postponed taking a test until after my boyfriend had concluded his year 12 exam because I didn't want to put any unnecessary pressure on him.  So... on Tuesday night, I took a pregnancy test. The test was fast acting so the results displayed within one minute.  After a long minute had come and gone, all that remained was me and the test. I looked at the results that were clearly displayed on the stick... negative! Yeah, so I'm not pregnant! YAY! Time to celebrate! Sorry that I can't contribute to all your SEAS applications. I ...

Time to leave the farm

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're going to filling you in on the bs we've endured throughout this year. School is difficult for everyone, but you know what makes it even harder? BAD TEACHERS. Have you ever had a teacher that literally CANNOT teach?  At the beginning of this year, our class was full of life. Our teacher was lovely and ensured every student was engaged and eager to learn the difficult subject we had enrolled in. However, EVERYTHING CHANGED when this polite teacher was forced to leave us and move countries! What were we to do but sit back and wait for our lives to fall apart. Term two came, and we waited patiently for our new teacher to arrive. And there she was, strolling towards the door. Moo Moo.  We tried to embrace this change, but nothing could prepare us for the hell to come. Lesson after lesson our sacred knowledge declined. This subject that we had been struggling to grasp for FIVE years (and that we were finally beginning to understand) le...

People have no common sense

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're gonna talk about voting. Voting is a VERY serious PRIVILEGE that many take for granted. This week at our educational institution, fellow students are tasked to undergo polling in order to elect Student Leaders.  Reebs et Hols as your authors have been working tirelessly throughout the past YEARS in order to create this community a safe and enjoyable environment for ALL.  However, THIS year, all our HARD work is being completely overlooked and undermined with the balloting that begins today. FOUR to FIVE years of utter and utmost dedication are at stake with the polling that will take place over ONLY two days. Like WHAT IS THIS? WE WORKED HARD FOR IT.  So PLEASE, GO VOTE! Vote for people who actually have leadership qualities. For people who represent YOU and want to help YOU. For people who have worked discreetly for YEARS in order to provide YOU with many days you enjoy. The result from this ballot will determine your FINAL ye...

I hate christmas

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we're talking about CHRISTMAS. I love christmas! No school, fun decorations and santa comes to town. But, my favourite part about christmas is giving. However, sometimes it gets all too much.  Last year , a SMALL group of friends got together to organise a gift exchange. We expected to have a fun final moment together to end the year off strong, BUT everything went wrong.  How could a fun moment turn to such misery? Heartbreak. Loss of friendship. Hatred. A planned moment for a SMALL group of closely knit friends torn apart when uninvited guests decided to show up and ruin our cheerful celebration.  I will never forget that moment when all my friend's hard work fell apart right in front of us. I felt awful, but what else could I do but watch on and wish that this horrid mess had never occured. We attempted to pick up the pieces of this cataclysmic misfortune. Though some were left with deep emotional trauma. My heart goes out to thos...

Men are so desperate and clueless

Salut mes amis,  On this week's agenda, I shall be discussing the enlightening time of my life involving a man (gasp!). It all started when my biology tuition went face-face. There was only four people and one guy, two of the girls were friends leaving me to sit next to the guy (V-man).  V-man started slowly talking to me, about biology, my school and life I guess. Then one time he asked me to play a game with him, it was a video game. (NOT STRIP POKER GUYS OMG). He was weirdly good at it, leading me to make the conclusion that he was an emo and a sad gamer boy looking for female attention.  Anyway he got my number (I willingly gave it) and he started messaging me. ALL THE TIME. He would NOT STOP even if I left him on delivered, he would start up another convo. At first I responded back to everything because I didn't mind it I guess and I thought it was just harmless behaviour.  Eventually, he asked me whether or not i wanted to study with him, at the library. I did ...

I think I might be pregnant

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, I will be talking about how my boyfriend and I started dating and how it's going now.  We had been talking for a few months but it never led anywhere because I had this stupid infatuation with Bingo. However, after I came to my senses, one night in early July, we were hanging out. After hours of talking (and drinking), we hooked up.  A few days later, we talked about it and started officially dating.  There was so many things I was terrified about being in this relationship. Like, how can you openly trust someone so much?  Being with him, was like being with your best friend and being able to talk to him all the time.  We hang out basically every day. My parents love him and always invite him to stay over. When I told some of my friends this (ReeRee), she thought we f*cked twenty times, when we had been dating for four months! (Honestly probably approaching or passed that point, but lost count).  Also, saying 'I love y...

We hate men

Salut mes amis, On this week's agenda, we'll talk about Bingo so we can get it over with.  Bingo was a little talking stage which turned into a bit of a situationship.  We were in the same class last year, and one random Tuesday, a few friends and I added him on Snapchat. For months, we were snapping back and forth, having good conversations and really getting to know each other. We had plans to go out sometime to the movies, but I backed out. He was still very nice about it though. He seemed like such a lovely person, but on a random Thursday, everything changed.  We were in class doing a revision activity for our mid year exam. A fun activity turned sour when all I heard from across the table was Bingo and his friends bitching about... ME! OMG, the audacity. "Did you know he was first on her best friends list?" "He only snaps her back so he can stay first" "Wow, she really likes him". All I could hear was jokes about me from across the table.  T...
